Yzabel
Yzabel is my (Ruthie's) alter ego. I came across this modeling shot one day while googling "alter ego" and it just sort of of drove the point home, at least in my mind:
Melyssa Ford “Turns the Other Cheek”Posted on December 1st, 2009 - By Bossip Staff. The theme for Melyssa Ford’s Alter Ego photo shoot with photographer Derek Blanks was “Thick Skin vs. Thin Skin.”
Yzzy is my fun, pleasant, eager beaver, all-things-Scottish loving me. Haha. The name just stuck with my heart eons ago when I was a ravenous BBC America addict. I was introduced by them to Hamish MacBeth in the persona of Robert Carlyle (I could not find a short video, but in this one, check out :07, 1:01; and 2:04). He was the first real Scottishness that I had any audible sensenings of. Ahh, musak to my soul; my heart skipped about a dozen beats every time I heard him speaking.
I know this is not me (below) but this is what my perfected vision of what Yzzy O'Cronin would be

O'Cronin
Tlachtga, ancient Celtic lady (er . .. ish?) has stayed by my soul ever since I can remember. I was reintroduced to her some 20 odd years ago. Today her 3 sons' descendants still live in County Meath and other areas of Ireland, under the family name O'Cronin. I don't think it is coinkidink that I married into the Cronan family and then learned that there is a distant relation to the clan of M'Lady. Or maybe it might be. Either way, I don't personally horribly mind believing it was she that led me here!!
And that, in a nutshell, kiddos, is Auntee Yzzy and the why's of it!!
